Information about the hike
This hike is a must when you visit the Lofoten. It won't take a lot of your time and the views are incredible. Since 2019, the trail is renovated by sherpas from Nepal. The path is quite easy now, because it mainly consists of a giant stone staircase. It is quite demanding however, as you will gain quite some elevation in a short distance. There are about 1600 steps.
Note: the hike described here goes up the trail to Reinebringen to about 470 meters in elevation. At this point, you reach the most popular viewpoint. The real peak of Reinebringen is further (at 666 meters elevation), but the path is more challenging. The suggested hike here only describes the trail to the most popular viewpoint.
