Getting there
The hike is best accessible by car. There is however a bus stop "Fredvang Kryss" which is located at the start of the bridge towards Fredvang. Walking from this bus stop over the bridge towards the starting point takes about 40 minutes. The bus timetable for the lofoten area can be checked on https://www.reisnordland.no/.

Information about the hike
This hike will take you to Kvalvika beach. The beach is located completely away from civilization, which gives visiting it quite a special feeling.
The suggested GPS track goes up towards Ryten mountain which grants you a great view towards Kvalvika beach. From the viewpoint close to Ryten peak, the suggested track goes down to the beach.
After visiting the beach, you can go back the same way or follow the other route which is on the GPS track. Be aware that when you follow the other route, you end up about one hour walking away from the starting point. In case you feel adventurous, hitchhiking back to the starting point is an option.
Getting back
The easiest way to get back is to ensure you follow the same way back how you reached the beach. In case you opted for following the alternative path which lead you more south, you can walk one hour more to reach the starting point again. Hitchhiking can be an alternative. The route is quite popular, so usually cars are be passing by fairly frequently.
